Where did the "Locals" come from?

I heard this story on ythe radio while heading back to Baja.
I finally tracked it down and am posting the link.
The gist of the story is that the first inhabitants of the Americas were from Australia not Asia.
DNA research, done in England, on a long faced skull found in Mexico shows it to be very closely related to the modern day Aboriginies of Australia.
One of the researchers, a Mexican, states that there was a tribe of long faced indians living in Baja when the Spanish first showed up. They were suposedly finished off by the many diseases that came with the conquistadors.

Interesting, although there was no mention of "Laguna Woman".....a skull found in Laguna Beach, CA dating back at least 17,000 yrs.....does that means that the Aussies will be running the casinos now?

Even though it sometimes provides a platform for prejudice, how lucky we are to live in a world so full of difference and individuality.

In Australia

the Aussies do run the casinos. For instance, there is an MGM Grand in Queensland. The aborigines just stay drunk most of the time. Sound familiar. By the way, they aren't called abbos or aborigines anymore. To be politically correct, they are indiginous people---mostly drunk indiginous people.
