Mummy Mommies or Spa Day at the Blowhole in Asuncion

While Juan is busy building and fixing things around here....we ladies took the afternoon to fix our faces! Here is Michelle (bajafam) being worked on by the experts and her kids.

Mis amigos from Guerrero Negro came to Asuncion to hold a workshop on holistic health care and to apply collagen facials. It was wonderful and painless and we had a real fun time laughing at the mummy look.

Mulegena looks lovely even in a masque! how does she do it?

Roy is an incredible guy and has travelled the world healing people's serious illnesses with alternative "medicine", diet changes, herbal remedies etc. and is an advocate of collagen treatments, topical and oral to heal from the inside out and effect weight loss. It was great to have them in the village although diet changes are a tough sell to all the obese folks who drink gallons of soda, eat white tortillas and fried food all the time. But like he says, even if he sows the seed of diet change in one person, it's worth it cause it will save their life....and make you more beautiful!

Hey Blanca...we should schedule a day in La Bocana too!

It is Roy & Nena's last day here today if anybody wants another facial or buy some products.

I love this picture. Kids always photograph well.

You even got the eye looking through the hole. Seriously, take that picture with the noodle across the eye and it's nowhere near as good.

Bravo, Shari. Goes to show that you don't need a thousand dollar camera to take good pictures.

muchas gracias Igor...I agree about the cameras...many of my personal favorite photos were taken with my pocket camera...it's all about capturing the moment...with a little creative framing, steady hand and a great subject...Tristan is a fantastic foto kid! plus, there is something about spirit involved too...photos taken in a joyful atmosphere have sparkle!
