Hunting season at ...


We were up in Dalhart Texas....which is about an hour north of Amarillo.....this past weekend. This was what they call "freezing fog". Dipping at 21f at night.

I rather be in Baja!

In northern Nevada, the Washo & Shoshone Indians (Native Americans) call it "Pogonip".....roughly translated means white death.

I grew up in Pampa Tx right up there in the top of Texas.went in the Army in 1959 I never had a Desire to go back. It gets just as hot as it does cold

when i lived i chicago i remember that once it got to 15 above (and less) it was just F%$^ING COLD. not really much noticeable difference....

It is my custom and rule to never drink any type of alcohol when hunting.

Fishing creates a certain conflict, however...and makes for some strange catches...

...like this nice [I]dog snapper[/I] my buddy caught in San Sebastian a few years back.. :rolleyes:
