Oasis Loreto

Normally we stay at La Mision but this time we had dog with us so stayed at Oasis. I have never travelled with a dog so do not know if this is standard but they treated our dog like she was a special guest. This impressed us.
Thats all I wanted to share.

Thanks, good to hear of another dog-friendly alternative. Added it to our list.

I haven't stayed there but friends of mine do because they're dogs are accepted into certain rooms. I have stopped for a beer and lunch and have heard they had clam/oyster specialty plates. Don't know if their dinners are still good? Right on the beach. Tio

baja bush pilots have the whole hotel booked for whales 2012 next weekend.

i think Mulege and the Serenidad is the better venue with the pista right there for comings and goings - but it is a whole new crop of members who are new to baja flying and they want to see a "town" and maybe some vets like the change of place.
