Las Rocas Resort & Spa - Rosarito

Las Rocas Resort & Spa

This hotel is located south of Rosarito towards Puerto Nuevo. I stayed there a couple months ago and just now am writing a review. I must say I was disappointed.

The Bad - I know tourism is down in Baja, but the resort just looked like it was overgrown and things were not fixed. Our room was old looking with old carpets. The door handle didn't lock without a big shove. The shower was a bit dirty and leaky and the towels were thread-bare. I had pulled in at 9:30pm and was tired, otherwise I would have requested another room.

The Good - The views are stunning and the infinity pool is incredible. The staff was very friendly.

I hope they will fix it up and bring it back to it's former glory. The website does not match my experience.

Ted

That's too bad. I got married there 7 or 8 years ago. Rooms were nothing great. Having all the family there and the surrounding bar and pool outside was. Every time I drive by I think "man they need to paint that place".
