La Paz to Puerto San Carlos

One of those boring questions!! We (4) want to go to San Carlos to see the whales the first of Feb.Cost matters. Should we get on the bus and hope to find a reliable guide when we get there, or should we set it all up in La Paz before hand? Any suggestons? Annie T.:?:

If cost matters,

Take a bus to Ciudad Constitucion and get a ride from there. There are plenty of guys there that will take you out to San Carlos who have relatives on the boats.

Baja Expeditions in La Paz takes trips out there but probably fairly expensive. Well known outfit known for their service and knowledge.

If you want to try something a little different, we may be down there around then to see some whales. But it won't be an organized trip out of San Carlos.:?::lol:

Thanks, However, we are all four oldsters, and probably need a guide. Or at least someone to help us in and out of the panga. It can be hell when you get old and still want to go to Baja every year!! THanks, and maybe we'll run into you anyway. Annie T.:smug:

Rent a car for one day. Drive is three hours to PSC so leave ASAP. You will be independent and can contact boats cheaper directly at PSC.
I recommend Mar y Arena of Fito Gonzalez.

Aldosalato, We hadn't even thought of that approach. Good Idea. Thanks.
