I'm gonna try this. I like the chorizo seco from Bafar the best.

I think I mentioned this before but chorizo seco is DELICIOUS as your meat substitute for ham or bacon in split pea soup. A nice spicy SPS.

first this -

1¼ pounds ground chuck (80% lean)
6 ounces cured (not fresh) chorizo sausage, finely chopped
