San Jose Marina

Last time I was in San Jose del Cabo, about 6-7 months ago, it looked like there was construction on the new marina, Does anyone know anything about that?

It's a really big hole in the ground right now. This project is going full speed ahead. New roads, big plans. I've got mixed emotions about it, but I hope they follow through with all the good stuff. We will see.

they re routed the road away from la playita and lined the road with palm trees and houseing developments. the marina is being built and will end up being one expensive area to live. was there in march and couldnt believe it.

I am too emotional to say too much about the new marina except that it does look like a go and at this point all I can do is hope and pray that they do in fact finish(please, not another Puerto Escondido) The rerouting of the road has put several local businesses in La Playa out of business, which saddens me greatly. I certainly did not move down here to live in that kind of atmosphere but what can I do.
For you see 4baja, I do not live in one of those big ugly houses on the beach that you mentioned in an earlier post.
