The Tax Administration Service (SAT) began in Ensenada, the return of yachts and sailboats foreign tourists who had debts with the IRS, so, in November 2013, they did a precautionary seizure.

A nationally were 388 vessels of which over 90 were in two sea port of Ensenada, in one of which the Hotel Coral and Marina fifty boats were returned last Friday.

Oscar Escobedo Carignan, State Tourism Secretary, said that after the seizure was carried out various measures to expedite the return of the ships.

Verbally urged the Federal Government to the legal actions that are intended to run against tourists was done peacefully and no weapons and military personnel are used to perform these actions.

Is an administrative matter and military action which severely affected the image of Mexico and its marine in the international perception is involved.

Escobedo said he is not against carrying out these actions and that all foreign visitors must comply with Mexican standards, but in police operations have to perform appropriate non intimidate visitors strategies.

The state official explained that the SAT performed an operation to check the legal status of more than 2000 boats nationwide of which 17 percent had irregularities.
