Wish I could make it, but I'll be further south putting the hurt to some yellowtail hopefully!

I little bit north of San Lucas Cove...San Francisquito. Send those yellowtail north! Are you fishing the tourney?

No tourney for us. 4 of us are going down to catch a few fish, drink some beers and relax. Two in the group have not done this type of fishing before, or even been to Baja, so it will be fun to just watch them crank on a few yellowtail and show them around some.

We just returned from a great trip. I believe there was over 170 entries and plenty of good times. Since I ran my quad Suzuki 400 solo, I was looking for other quads to pair with and saw Malcolm Smith and his wife on their solid Can Am 800...what a machine! Malcolm got it for a Christmas present.

I followed Malcolm the whole way and got all his dust especially at the rock quarry. He was hauling and the Can Am was doing well over the rough terrain especially with his precious cargo (wife) on the back.

By far the best check point was numero quarto with the sea breeze and margarita machine at full output. We were the first machines to get there. It was not a race but I wanted to follow Malcolm's pace. I suppose if he was solo I would have been left in the dust!

I hope to repeat this next year.

Will post some pics and the map later.
