Coming from Fraser, YEAH, it'll be hot!....I think from what some of my guests tell me, the rental companies aren't much different....Watch what you sign up for insurance wise..

Alamo was good in May.
We just got a standard car for 3 days and all was smooth. Takes a bit to do the paperwork and all before actually driving away but no big deal.

Upgraded cause there were 4 of us and we got a VW Clasico, they only have a couple cars ready to go!

I used Fox at the airport and returned the car on June 10. The car was checked out to be O.K. at the end of the trip and they used my credit card for final payment. I now have a pending payment of $310 from June 10 on my credit account that Fox USA or my Bank cant remove. I cant get a hold of Fox Loreto and USA Fox can't. My bank says after 14 business days the pending charge goes away. I will use the other outfit in July.

I have the same question for friends coming into Loreto mid August. Who should they rent a car from at the airport in Loreto?

Used Alamo in July. I did not have time to re-fuel as I sat in the car for a good hour for road construction south of Loreto. They knew I was late for the plane and met me outside the terminal and hurried the process. Had to leave my suitcase behind as I checked in very late. They charged me fairly for the fuel and the account was closed out.
