Is in not politically correct anymore to point out that ALL profits from the import brands go overseas? People from all parts of our continent must
know how important it is to our future for the USA to maintain strong domestic earnings. (Promotes a strong military, etc.) Let the haters begin...

Tis a point to consider ... loco ... IMHO
Cuz, is there some reason the Untied States can't make something in the way of a motor vehicle which is on "par" with the competition ... just asking
Ford Bronco 86, Ford Crown Vic 06 and a Honda CRV 03
Have been lucky with all ... no problems ... the two fords were in Mexico for just under one year four months ... the Honda was down only once or
twice
Well say, we weren't crawling rock, or taking them out onto really difficult explorations trips ... I was not in any condition to try that ... anymore
That was 2009-2011 ... things have changed .. no more trips

Profits go to shareholders. (Toyoya ticker TM trades on the NYSE as an ADR for US investors). In terms of the earnings of the USA -- Toyota
contributes to the US GDP too.. jobs - check... North American sourced parts - check... Tax rev for the military etc - check
The economics behind cars can be really tricky to figure out. According to one study Honda has one of the most American cars out there right now.

Tioloco I understand that for sure.
However, I work for a company that makes parts for Airbus (French company). We then contract out a lot of work, most in the states, some overseas.
