sentri pass possible for Mexican plated vehicle ??


I have a sentri pass but can not find any info on whether or not I can add a Mexican plated vehicle........Supposedly you can add up to 4 vehicles on your pass

There are lots of Mexican plated vehicles in Sentri program.

Yes, you can. I see Baja-plated cars in the SENTRI line every time. You just need to bring your paperwork with you, and of course the usual SENTRI-specific rules (no cabovers, no cabinets in the bed of the truck, etc.)

It's taking a lot of time to get the SENTRI-fication done, though. I applied as soon as I got my plates and it took as near as nothing three months before I got the conditional approval.

Don't feel bad...my conditional approval took 5 months!

You talking about adding another car, right?

Been 6 weeks since I submitted the "paperwork" to add a new car and still pending review. Ugh. Getting longer again for sure.

Not to mention, yesterday Sentri line (Sunday at 9am) was a good hr wait at SY. Bummer.
