San Diego Area Parking Needed

Nomads,
I am looking for a place to park my pick-up truck in the El Cajon/San Diego area from about Dec 10th to Jan 10th while I ride my moto in Baja.
I am hoping a Nomad can offer some space off the street that is safe.

U2U me if you can help....

Muchas gracias.

There's a parking lot at the turnoff to the duty free stores. going south it'a on the right just as you make the turn.
My daughter used to leave her car there before i put her on my Mexico Insurance. in the past it was around 5.00 a day

Except for three things:

1) I don't have a house (anymore)
2) Guest parking is limited to 24 hours in this apartment complex
3) I don't live in El Cajon, but about an hour north.

* IF it wasn't for the above three things my Baja Nomad amigo Ged could stay here, park here, etc. Hospitality is something my Baja friends had before I moved out of my Oceanside house. BajaTripper and El Vergel are a couple of my most recent house guests (2012, 2011).

You can park in the street in front of my place in North Park if you want and I'll keep an eye on it. It's about 20 minutes north of the border off the 805.
It's a pretty safe and quiet neighborhood.

But wouldn't you have to move it for street cleaning every week?

You may try the Heritage Inn near Sea World in San Diego. Contact the manager, offer to stay one night on either side of your trip and ...if they are not sold out during that period, you may be a winner and park for free with security cameras!

I used to manage hotels and if the folks were nice and gave me a heads up, I would always try to work with them..... customer service!

try other hotel managers as well.

just noticed dates. good info for those that surf the board.
