Everyone hopes that they will make some difference in their lives. Veterans don't have that problem.
"It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the organizer, who gave us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag and
whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag."
– Father Dennis Edward O’Brien, USMC

Udo, I appreciate you putting your thoughts about vets on this forum, but in my case, thanks aren't necessary. I served from Jan 67, to Dec 69, and
I feel I got more than I gave from a life changing crash course on reality.
But thanks for thinking of us!

Thanks Udo.
How are you doing after the operation this week? I'll be back in town in a couple of weeks after tonight's work. If you need any assistance U2U me or
for something for your new stomach, i.e. fish, sauces, smoked bbq meats, etc.
I've got a new hot sauce I call "Alo'hot" after it's Hawaiian taste (hickory smoked grilled CR chilies, pineapple, roasted garlic, onion, ginger,
carrot, turmeric, cinnamon, cumin, etc.). It's a killer adding to your favorite bbq sauce.
