Yet another pummeling going on. It's too loud to sleep in this rain.

We have to be approaching a total of 2 inches in the last 18 hours or so.

The rain cleared up in time to make the evening dog walk yesterday, then poured around 3 a.m. followed by a pre-dawn lightening show. Rain cleared up again for the morning walk, a rainbow and then we had a huge downpour at noon today. a few photos from the a.m. walk looking south to La Ribera and then north:

Then a rain cell came in and it poured heavily for a half hour. Very tropical. The medio ambiente is loving it as well u:cool:s us short time dwellers! Enjoy all. Tio

We got a lot of rain out here at La Chorera the last few days and a half inch just last night. Today it rained for most of the morning but it appears the storm is now moving on.

Going to be an incredible show of wildflowers out here come this spring...

Yet another cloudburst just now, after 24 hours of stoppage.

This is the single biggest winter rain period that anyone can remember, over here. We just don't get moisture from the south in winter.

Or didn't, anyway.

Rain in Baja? Rainfall Records ?

Is there any place where one can look up rainfall history for parts of Baja?
Thanks,
Jay

Thank you! The rainbow I saw was just after 8 a.m., but now I know where the pot of gold was!

A nice day sailing yesterday and light rain again late this afternoon following a thundershower from the west. The vegetable garden is loving this weather.
