Blank Posts
This is a test to see what happens now. All day I have tried to post a reply to the thread about the Seri People and when I hit either the preview
post or post button, the message goes blank.
Once it asked for a subject like it was a new topic and when I entered a subject, that is all that posted. Oh, I quickly tried another post in
another thread and it posted --- I quickly deleted it as it was just a trial
Anyone else having this problem? I have written to Doug about that.
So here goes ---- will this post?

Diane,
You might try writing the exact same words from the Seri thread to this thread.
Perhaps the new version of nomads has some 'verboten' words that were used which caused the entire post to be cancelled. I don't know. It's just a
guess.
I once used the eff word and windows crashed.

OK --- I tried to post the post here and the same thing happened!
And Barry, there were no daggers sent your direction so protection was not the issue.
I just don't know what word could stop the post. I quoted the original poster, commented about Thomas Bowen, another book and simply said I did not
agree with some of what Barry said.
Maybe if I do it word by word, we can figure out what word is causing a blank post!
On edit, I am using Chrome and words that include a.....s.....s.

Mystery solved. I removed all the Spanish accents from the name of the original poster who I was quoting and it posted!
I hope this is informative for Doug as he works out the bugs!

That was a typo on my part. I meant to say that I was NOT using any words that include a.......s......s.
The first time I tried, I did use the word una..s...s uming and realized that would not work--- so I changed it.
The bug, I believe, is definitely with the Spanish accent marks.
Time to get out some bug spray.
