south dakota plate on off road vehicle?


anyone attempted to get a SD plate for a non street legal vehicle? I'd love to strap one to the WR-F. wonder what their laws are :?:

I have a Polaris 700 Sportsman ATV with South Dakota registration and a back license plate and keep it current every year for around $25 a year, I forgot the exact figure. I keep it in Loreto and have never been stopped but have not heard of a non plated ATV stopped either in Loreto.

So to answer your question, yes.

thanks! thats exactly what I needed to know. its a little different up here in rosarito, theres a alot of riding but getting to it means riding the highway and in this "new baja" the police are just looking for an excuse to pull you over. I even thought about putting a pizza box on the back fender :lol: but even delivery bikes are licensed!
