David K in L.A. Bay

Hola Nomads!
Just a brief 'hello' to tell you all is fine here. No wind, but no sun either... so we are wearing jackets. The fiesta last night was good fun, and the dinner at Camp Gecko (featuring Bedman's prime rib) was awesome!!

Today Elizabeth just had her first fish taco, and she is hooked!

We stopped at the Catavina rock art site on the way here(Friday) and BajaGato & Bajaddict pulled in as they were headed north... We all climbed up to the cave together... Chris tells be they caught 10 halibut at Bahia de San Rafael beach!

Anyway, we picked up some 'Magic Rocks' for the camp fire tonight...
More when I get home... ADIOS from Bahia de los Angeles!

Addition: The whole trip is photographed at http://community-2.webtv.net/boojum1/105

David & Elizabeth Sorry we missed the Diaz Fiesta. I developed a nasty sinus thing while lighting my paper bag candles in the wind, early on New Years eve.

Monday we are heading toward Play San Rafael in our dually and new truck box tent, with Eddie the airedale, Tope the coydog and Cole the grumpy old mini poodle. Hope to meet you both sometime in the future.

Hello Nomads,
Got home at 1 am Monday morning as I decided to take Elizabeth to see Gonzaga Bay (and Coco's Corner), which ads time to the return trip. We left L.A. Bay at 11 am Sunday and drove to Montevideo and also made lunch among the boojum trees. The border at Mexicali west at 9 pm was almost 1 hour wait. Anyway, stay tuned for a complete trip report (it was great) and photos soon, too. It was great seeing so many Nomads and finally meeting PACKODERM, too!

Glad you are back and had a good trip. It's been kinda quiet around here with both you and jr off the board.
Looking forward to hearing more about your trip.
Oh check out my photo that I told you about of the old La Paz road
Que tengas un buen dia!

We crossed at 12:30 pm on the 1st at Tijuana and it was the best time we have EVER made at any crossing. 15 minutes!
