Don't know the hours, but they are south of Caspers at the pedestrian overpass, opposite Sorianos and the new Pemex in front of Sorianos. There is parking inside and a policeman will allow you in if there is space. Go to the wicket inside, front right and pay, then down the left side for the drivers test, which is multiple choice and the last step is to the right where you get your photo taken and drivers licence.

So there's no actual driving test in your car?

HA! No. I didn't even have the test. Just paid the fee, had a picture taken and they handed it to me. Whole thing took less than 30 mins.

Is the multiple choice written test in English or can you take someone to translate?

There is no written or drivers test.

You do need to have a blood test done at any lab. to determine
your blood type. You can't just tell them your blood type
Also, a light or water bill of where you live, doesn't have to be in your name.
Bring extra copies of EVERYTHING.

I think the written test is a sometimes you have it and sometimes you don't thing. Mine was in Spanish (no problem for me) and they gave me a pencil. When I turned it in, I had missed one so they erased my answer and changed it to the correct one and told me I had aced the test!
