I know a couple of folks that have used El Monte Rents and have been very happy.
The reason that many RV rental companies don't want to have their rigs in Mexico is they don't come back and it cost a lot to go through the process to bring them back.

I will go again with buying a nice used one,, if you don't go thru a dealer,, have a RV repair shop do a inspection,, and any repairs needed,, when your done sell it,, if you don't want to sell it your self ,, put it on consignment with a reputable dealer

I heard something about the sulfer content of diesel in US is less than in Mexican diesel and may cause a major stoppage in US engines newer than 2006.

I don't own a diesel but if you are going to drive a diesel van, look into that further.
