Driving from Sac/Bay Area to Baja end of May.

Hi, I am driving from Sacramento area to Baja towards the end of May. Looking for somebody that would like to ride along and share expenses. Me, Male, 59, easy going. Driving a 2005 Acura MDX. I will be taking it easy as have no real plan at this time. Just explore, spend a couple of weeks, the on the ferry over to Mazatlan and down to PV.

Sounds perfect...for next year. Have to spend my vacation this year going to weddings back east. If you do this next year contact me and I'd be really happy. Good Luck!

That sounds perfect for me! I saw your post about your car, I hope it's okay! I've sent you a message with my contact details, I'm a friendly Canadian guy, and can split costs with you! I look forward to hearing from you!

sail38n,

When in Mazatlan, have a look at Hotel La Siesta, a hotel I will forever stay when there.

Consider the mountainous drive toward Durango, Durango . . with logging mills, log cabins and wood smoke rising from roof top chimneys. No need to go the distance to Durango. Cut off from a plan. Maybe return on the extraordinary new highway in cruise toward PV.
