Yesterday

AM chatting with Nomads:lol: Breakfast in Los barriles of Chorizo and egggs. Cleaned off upper part of property getting ready for todays new bamboo grove.
1st day cleaning house. Front yard done and found rock walkway in front of the porch. Bueno!
Used hose to spray out inside of house and will be investigating sealers to preserve adobe rather than plaster over.
Found Fosa and needs repair but doable.
Flush touillets in a 200 year old house is ok in my books.
Found old tiled floor in one room. It's a keeper and will clean up nice.
So far, no bugs, snakes, and only good spirits inhabiting this house.
It's almost as if Baja Bamboo has found a home. Or vice versa!
Bamboo down below growing well. Lot's of 12' to 15' runners growing up through the trees and dried stuff sprouting new shoots.
1 or 2 more days and the plantable part of the property will be ready for completion of the bamboo stands.
Empanadas and bunuelos for dinner at Jesus and Louisas.
Sergio and Aaron were my helpers yesterday. Aaron is a good worker in between wheelies. Thanks everyone for helping him.

Bruce, gracias

but I am trying to preserve what's there already. I learned today that a traditional method is using gomma de nopales. Do you have much nopal growing up in your area or am I going to have to raid one of those viveros en Baja norte?
