Cabo San Lucas Beach/ Hotel Q's
Can someone recommend an all inclusive resort in Cabo that has a swimmable beach? Everyone place I read states that the beaches have too strong
currents.

Cabo San Lucas specifically, or anywhere in the Los Cabos area, including San Jose del Cabo?
In Cabo San Lucas, it's the hotels along the Pacific side, like the Solmar and the Finisterra that are on a pretty treacherous beach. There's a
pretty mean undertow.
Although any beach can have danger-issues at times, Playa Medano, along the Sea of Cortez side of El Arco (and the marina) is much more swimming
friendly compared to those exposed to the Pacific Ocean. Again, it will depend on the conditions when you're there.
Playa Medano is the home of the Hotel Hacienda, the Melia San Lucas, the Cascadas (condos), and the Pueblo Bonito facilities - among others. None of
those I've listed are all-inclusive.
Further out of town and your not really in Cabo San Lucas.

You can also take a boat out to Playa del Amor. The Cortez side has a nice beach to swim at - only you have to dodge all the water taxis coming out
there during the day. The Pacific side of Playa del Amor has that knarly undertow - so, best to avoid unless you know what you're doing... but even
then....

Hotel La Fiesta Inn at San Jose del Cabo requires tenants to wear a yellow i.d. band on your wrist! You have to wear this STUPID &%^&^%$#* thing
during your entire Baja stay. It dont come off! So...go to town and be a "marked idiot"! Dont go to this human degrading hotel. We got stuck there
because of a prepaid vacation...oh...dont pre pay...go see the place you before you check in !

Just got back from s SCUBA diving boat trip and spent a few days inbound / outbound in Cabo. Having never been there but heard all the development
domm and gloom made me think I might not like it, but it really is a nice place.
The fact that it was 75-80 degrees and sunny most every day went a long way to warming my attractiion too!
