Does this happen to anyone else?

After staring at the purple bars that run across the Nomad pages, when I look down at the keyboard I see bright golden lines.
Maybe it is a sign that I am on this board too much?!?!?!?
Or are the 60's coming back to haunt me.

Probably both, Judy.

I was able to make that happen for me, but had never noticed it before. And do note there actually is a (thin) yellow line between your post and your tag/signature.

Ay Judy, haven't seen the golden lines on Nomads, but...... thought I was the only one suffering from recidual "60's" issues. Glad to know I am in good company.

Quite simply,

you might be enjoying the phenomenon known as "Baja Enlightenment"

Quite natural and benign, the colors and patterns will lead you to other wonderful things.

Fun with colors and latent images....just concentrate on the color boxes blinking on and off:

No flashbacks, just phenomenum experienced

by humans called optical illusions. It's all about perception of vision:

http://www.scientificpsychic.com/graphics/

This page illustrates that our visual perception cannot always be trusted. The components of an object can distort the perception of the complete object. Our mind is the final arbiter of truth.

Optical illusions have been studied for millenia.

Shifting gears

Afterimages of complementary colors create apparent movement in our peripheral vision
as our eyes shift across the page.
