Help needed at Los Bariles
I got this today and I'm not in a position to help....no airplane etc. Maybe you can. If so contact Carlee at raushabaja@live.com
I am in Los Barriles the east cape of lower Baja at the moment where I spend the winter...
My dear friend Allen Mason age 68, yesterday was diagnosed with a brain tumor... Doctor feels it has been there about 3 months and is growing
rapidly...Allen had a small TIA related to this tumor this past Sunday.....
2 years ago Allen crashed a small plane here and was taken to Sharp Memorial in San Diego. He recovered quite well
They want to go ASAP again to San Diego for whatever is to follow next. Allen has Medicare and working on secondary.
Ron said you are well connected with doctors and perhaps you could help with a recommendation .
Ron has graciously said they can stay with him .
Any help in the networking of this matter would be so appreciated...
Thank you Bruce Carlee Rauber

Barflies?
B.B., You might want to edit the title to 'Barriles'. Some one who is able to help might not read this post if it sounds like it might be an
intervention, rather than a medical emergency.
I hope things work out for Mr. Mason, and soon!

I agree with AK. Sure not a very "honey" way of attracting bees with that title.

Sorry about the typo....fat fingers or the danged spell checker which naturally thinks a Gringo word and not a Baja one.

X2. A couple of years ago a friend became ill and was told he needed to have his gall bladder removed in Cabo. He didn't have medical insurance down
here but had Medicare in the states. We took off early am, slept a few hours in El Rosario and had him at the emergency entrance at Scripps La Jolla
mid day the following day. He had surgery a few hours later. I don't think he could have gotten there any faster.

If he had gotten on the bus yesterday he would be in the hospital in San Diego by now, a couple hundred bucks. Let me know if there is anything I can
do to help, I know Allen and would be happy to do what I can.
