Fish puertocitos-gonzaga bay

Someone told me they were catching yellowtail in this area. I was wondering if someone on here fishes this area and has first hand knowledge. Firsthand being the key word.
Thanks mick

With all the purse seiners between Puertecitos snd LABay, we're lucky to get trigger for dinner. First hand.

A OK has it right. Area is being wiped out. Would not go expecting to catch anything though of course you'll get occasional reports to the contrary. Not a place where you go counting on YT...

Thanks, that is what I thought. I did see a fish camp south of puertocitos. I assume that's all the guys who can no longer fish the north end.

This is making me sad. I plan to fish off my 12' inflatable inshore at Pta SFO in April. Theres a couple of 100 ft crevices about 100 yds offshore that have given me dinner since the early 80's. Can these , and are these funky little commercial boats doing that much damage that close in?
