sure wish you luck with the move and if I were you all, I would probably stay 2 years in any one place and then be ready to move elsewhere - anywhere - changing towns or cities or states or countries.

You are so young and your kids are having the opportunity of a lifetime.

vamos a la playa oh oh oh oh oh

Hi Soulpatch,

I thought the issue before was that the sea was dirty and you and your children were getting ill? Is this new area cleaner? I have young children too and would like to live near the sea in mexico but your history was one of the (many) reasons that put me off.

FWIW, the community in that area that I liked was Lo de Marcos. Not nearly as much of a zoo as Rincon de Guayabitos. Really pretty quiet. Should be one of the least expensive communities along there. We have not been to Ayala, San Francisco or La Penita. We have been to Sayulita. Seems like a bit of Sausalito transplanted into Mexico, if you know what I mean. Rather expensive.

I hope you like Canadians, especially French Canadians, if you are moving to that area. :smug: Seems like they make up about 75% of the gringos in the areas north of PV.

Soulpatch,

Not too long ago you mentioned you were considering Manzanillo, what changed your mind?

Best of luck wherever you land.
