An Alternative View of the Sonoma Raceway

Last weekend I got to visit the Sonoma Raceway to watch some NASCAR racing. I've been into desert racing my whole life, and frankly, pavement gives me the gag reflex. That said, it was an amazing venue and an exciting race - especially the last half of the last lap. Here's a clump of photos that I snapped:

I don't watch NASCAR wrestling, but I am glad you liked the track.

One of my fondest kart racing memories is from the Sonoma kart track.

My good friend, Nico Rondet, is the head instructor at Sears Raceway. We were up there in April got an up close tour of the track. We also go to enjoy the Ferrari race. Both of my kids got to sit in some of the race cars. Nice place!

That was my reaction too. I thought they were sucked up by Albertsons?
