El Chapo's Son Kidnapped

In what would seem to be a really bad idea, this article reports that 6 people were abducted from an upscale restaurant in Puerto Vallarta, among them 29-year-old Jesus Alfredo Guzman. Granted, it's not Baja-related, but probably of interest to anyone wishing to monitor the inevitable power struggle between cartels.

When it was first reported they claimed 16 American tourist were kidnapped. Sensationalism to drum up interest?

MSN reports 8 people (men) 'kidnapped' at gunpoint, all cartel heavies... no names mentioned (especially Guzman's). They had 9 bimbos with 'em, all set free. Sure sounds like DEA or Mex. equivalent of. Breaks my heart.... hope they're ok....

Rumor has it the DEA was behind this. ;D

.

I wonder if they got the idea from the ATF, who were the brains behind Operation Fast and Furious

Well, at least that bastion of "REAL NEWS" has the real story.

Tourists kidnapped

Must've been a working vacation.

Hysterical, Patch. That rag isn't owned by Rupert Murdoch perchance, is it?

If you are in PV, don't waste your time going into this restaurant. I think they have connections with the cruise ship people. Secret is they have a food truck outside and you can get some great food without paying the prices they charge inside.
