Mexicali to Gonzaga Bay: Same as before, no problems, all paved.
Gonzaga to Coco's Corner: paved for 20 kms as it has been since early 2014, however the crews seemed to be back at work, unlike what we saw 2 months
ago. We did get to drive on one of the new bridges, as a Nomad had recently posted.
Coco's to El Crucero via Calamajué Canyon: slower with more whoops than my trip in 2012. The stream water lever was low. El Crucero ranch was
abandoned, no gate to open.
El Crucero to L.A. Bay via San Borja and Montevideo: Paved roads fine, a few holes on Hwy. 1. San Borja road was mostly great and the few rocky
sections no worse than past trips. Montevideo side road much slower and more overgrown than before.
L.A. Bay south: Great, recently graded, fast to Poncho's and on south. The Cuesta de la Ley grade west of Punta San Francisquito is now concrete! The
road through Guillermo Prieto was super fast.
The rest :
Some road repairs from Hurricane Newton in San Ignacio, Santa Rosalia and to Mulege but no big deal.
The road out to Punta Concepcion became impassable about 7 miles before the end, and heavily overgrown before that place, as the scratches on our
Toyotas show.
The Abreojos highway was badly pot holed!
Abreojos to Asuncion salt flats and graded road was fast.
Asuncion to Vizcaino pavement was excellent.
Highway One was good other than some pot holes from L.A. Bay jcn. north to Cataviña.
Punta San Carlos graded road was fast.
Las Pintas side road was poor, and very silty, unlike before.
Detours around hwy widening near Santo Tomas and south of Tecate.

Oh, forgot to mention that La Lobera seafood operation was abandoned and the road to the sea lion crater is no longer maintained, very silty, rough
detour. No longer passenger car friendly.

Thanks for posting, but now you have me scrambling for a map. Is this how map mania starts?
The road out to Punta Conception was one of my intended destinations for this season, but that doesn't sound like an option now!
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

Only on a motorcycle! There was a mini grand canyon that stopped the highly motivated young ones in our Toyota caravan of mostly modified rigs. I
would have turned around before the brush began gorging the clear coat on my truck! Going out the Concepcion peninsula was the desire of Chef Jesse
and his friends and my passenger Pat all loved it!! We stopped about midnight to make camp about 5 miles south of where we had turned around, on a
moonless night... we looked to be almost directly across from El Coyote, if not a few miles south.
We did enjoy the running stream we found coming out of solid rock somewhere up Arroyo Pintadas, the next day!
