Interesting read, thanks. I think that guy would be a lot happier getting out of his room and enjoying some of what Baja has to offer.

Funny. It seems so backwards from how I would want to live my life. This guy does his "living" in the U.S., and works in Baja. I'd rather do it the other way around, or not working at all.

I stayed at Bobby's by the Sea condos a few years ago on a summer weekend and headed to the bar for my first SOB frosty beer in the bar and I asked why it was so slow - like a ghost town. They said that they were completely sold out and booked solid. Booked solid with on-line gamers as it turns out.

Over the weekend I ran into a few of them when they came down for food which was rare. They essentially looked like stressed out Wall St. traders. Very pale from no sleep and no sun. Strange breed indeed

What a sad story. The work sounds depressing, i suspect the guy is suicidal.

In one of his blog posts he talks about his 15-year addiction to crack, and he says his ongoing habit is controlled.

He does a podcast on "dope stories"

Haha, probably the only thing you ever posted I agree with. Welcome to common ground. Sounds very depressed.
