Maximum Fuel Prices in Baja effective January 1st, 2017...

Mexico is starting the new fuel scheme this year and, for now, the fuel prices are not the same throughout Mexico, so here you have the Maximum fuel prices authorized in Baja (Ensenada and South) starting January 1st, 2017...

Magna..............$ 16.16 pesos per liter
Premium..........$ 17.93 pesos per liter
Diesel...............$ 17.28 pesos per liter

These prices are in liters... since 1 US gallon = 3.7854 liters and today (January 1st, 2017) 1 US dollar = $20.00 pesos (+/-), we can calculate the approximate price per US gallon:

Magna.............$ 3.058 US dollars per US gallon
Premium..........$ 3.393 US dollars per US gallon
Diesel...............$ 3.270 US dollars per US gallon

Remember that these are maximum prices allowed, which means you may find different prices at some Gas Stations, specially when taking into account the dollar/peso exchange rate.

Happy 2017 to everyone!!!

gas

I live in Yuma and here it's $2.05/gal today. About $0.77/gal is highway taxes for building and repair of roads. So I've always wondered where in mexico the really good roads were?

The really good roads are toll roads.
They allocate tax revenues a bit differently down here.
