Hiked and camped the East Cape in January

From Tijuana I took the bus to La Paz, then onto to San Antonio.
Getting off the bus, I walked to Los Planes, camped in the desert, then walked over the hills to the Sea of Cortez and camped on the beach near Boca del Alamo. Hiking the road, camping on the beaches and finding an occasional hotel and hot food were fun. But the highlights of my trips are always meeting friendly people. Some Mexicans insisted on giving me a ride, other travelers gave me water and others a friendly wave.
I always keep a sketchbook, and here are a few drawings.
I hope to be back another day!

Very nice presentation in an interesting departure from the traditional pictorial format trip report. Obviously you are enjoying Baja.

Oh my gosh, how wonderful! Your drawings are great. Please post more and if that means jumping on the bus again, do it!

Very, very nicely done! The words and pictures together truly do "paint the picture" of your travels in the style of explorers of old.

I enjoyed looking at your sketches. Baja "eye candy!" Reminds me of how Coco would draw sketches in his visitor sign-in book. I backpacked from Cabo San Lucas to La Ribera and your sketches brought back good memories of the hike.

By the way, what did you use for the coloring of your art-work?
