skis in BOLA

I know they don't allow jet skis in the BOLA for obvious reasons of people acting like idiots in the nature reserve. I was wondering if someone came down with a ski set up strictly for fishing if they would care? Just curious who or if they even regulate that rule? It would be strictly fishing, no typical messing around for fun. Just a whole lot lighter and more fuel efficient than a real boat. Thanks.

Jet ski's are allowed but only north of Guadalupe Bay, east side of Guardian Angel and south of Barnaby Rock. In this way the noise and stench will be just barley tolerable.

Two of our neighbors in La Gringa use Jet skis all the time. For play and fishing.

That's good to know. Besides the signs all over the ramp and around a few of the beaches, the "conservation" people who do the island permits also say no skis. That is why I wasn't sure if anyone actually enforces those rules. I know a few of the hotels stopped their use so I wasn't sure if it meant everybody.

Describes a lot of humans to; Let's outlaw them all.

Actually, there are laws NOB against excessive noise, as well as exhaust control. The reason is that normal humans prefer having less noise and stench around them, - which of course doesn't describe all humans.

Wow, that crazy and expensive of a setup and you use a spinner? Bait casters aren't that much more expensive.

Might indeed appear funny after 5 pm. The suggestion was essentially to "outlaw" Mexican local authorities. No worries, they don't have resources to enforce much anyway.
