I have a rule of sorts about driving on Sun. afternoon in Baja due to the barrochos on the road. Nothing against inbibing,
just have witnessed drinking all day Sun., then on the road.
I can only assume it is a few fold worse the end of Semana
Santa. Have seen temp signs put up alluding to that in Baja

La Bocana becomes deserted during semana santa! what a great place to totally chill. We are so off the beaten path and locals want to party elsewhere.

Come visit La Bocana

Went to LaPaz last Wed. beaches south of Mulege virtually empty. Came back today and they were filling up... Met many trucks, etc. with a lot of what looked like camping gear headin south....
Would think that there will be few spots left tomorrow...

Time to hole up in town...
