Dive shops
Hey all:
My sister will be visiting this winter and she would like a list of
dive shops from Cabo to Mulege.
She is bringing her own BC and reg so would need wet-suit fins and tanks.
Any help would be sure appreciated as I gave up diving some years ago.

I kinda figured as much
There used to be a good one in Mulege but......
We're also planning to see if we can hook her up with Juan in BA
and if we're really lucky and the timing is right with Bajagypsy and
her hubby

Here is list of dive shops/locations that I know of -
Cabo San Lucas - There are at least four dive operations in Cabo San Lucas. Search the internet. I have used the dive shop at Chileno Bay just north
of Cabo.
Cabo Pulmo - I have used the dive operation located right on the beach. Very good diving in the marine park.
Los Barriles - Have not dove here but internet says that there is dive shop in town.
La Ventana - I have used the full service operation at Palapas Ventana many times. Good equipment and dive sites around Isla Cerralvo.
La Paz - There are at least three dive shops located on the south half of the Malecon. Just drive the Malecon and look for the signs/shops. (Have
not used any of these shops for diving but have gone out for snorkel trips with two of them.)
Loreto - Have not dove here but there must be a dive shop that visits the marine park.
Now, for the bad news. Winter is not the season for diving.
From December thru March the north wind blows relentlessly. Hence, the influx of windsurfers/kiteboarders.
The wind and swell stirs up the water and cuts the visibility to 10 - 30 ft.
September/Oct is prime diving season. Visibility can approach 100 ft at Cerralvo.

We dove in Loreto and La Paz in the last year or so….
In Loreto we went with Loreto Sea and Land Tours. They were awesome.
In La Paz we went with Dive La Paz. Great outfit.
They both have websites and you can look up their reviews.
