Baja trip site recommendations
Thinking about a drive down baja. Primary destinations will be Loreto, La Paz, Todo Santos, and Los Barriles. Any recommend spots along the way?

from loreto head west to Mission San Javier, then continue west on dirt to Pacific coast, then south to La Paz.
what time of year are you doing this trip?

In Loreto get on a panga and have them take you to Coronado island for a few hours. bring ice chest and snacks snorkel and mask. It will be hot and
humid in town, when not in the water or shade. The road out of San Javier mission(to the pacific) heads south... then west. It is a fairly well used
road and will take you through canyons and water crossings (4 wheel drive not needed). It meets up with the Hwy at Valle Santo Domingo. Its a great
way to break up all of the hwy driving.
get a good map!
have you decided which border crossing? towns along the way for overnight?
San Felipe to Loreto is doable in an early morning to late afternoon all day keep moving. San Felipe to San Ignacio is an easy way to break it up and
be in Loreto for lunch th next day.

I think you should reschedule your trip for a cooler time of year. June is awfully hot and humid. East side of Baja is not a very desirable summer
spot.
If you insist on going in summer, I recommend you stay in mountains or on pacific side.

The beaches along Bahia Concepcion are my favorite camping spots. From north to south the main ones are:
Santispac
Escondida
El Burro
Coyote
El Requeson
La Perla
Try Coyote, there is a store close by on the highway. They all have palapas for shade. Santispac is the largest and has 2 restaurants.

100%+ ignore this comment. Unless you are a lil baby who can't stand a little heat for a few days you will absolutely love it. The heat is great and
makes being out on or near the water awesome.
You might not want to live there all summer, but a week or two on the East side of Baja when it's hot is beyond awesome. Plus June isn't even that
hot yet.
Some ppl are just grouchy on here and think anything over 70's is unbearable. Ignore them.

Bahia de Los Angeles is a must stop along the way. Gonzaga Bay is another one.
