We've got all kinds of beautiful bodies on the beaches and in the water right now with the women's surf contest going on at Zippers. Not only beautiful, but they can rip. Better surfers than 99% of the guys.

As to those other bodies, we just drove by the command post on our way back from town. No bueno.

Sad news indeed to find 14 bodies.

Anybody know where exactly this was at?

Don't want to be a fear monger. Just curious since I drove around this area a week ago.

A good friend of mine said, "Los cuerpos encontrados cerca de san José cerca de la playa" (The bodies were found near San Jose, close to the beach). I believe the news sources said it was around 4.5 kilometers from San Jose.

The police have their command post set up at the top of the hill on the new east cape road about a half mile north of the turnoff to La Laguna/El Encanto/Buzzard's Restaurant.

It's odd that the media is referring to the location of Cabo Pulmo, when it's not even close to there. The location of the bodies is actually more than 30km from the border of the Cabo Pulmo national park, but only 4.5 km from San Jose. It's about 57km from there to the community of Cabo Pulmo, which is about a 1hr 45min drive from the site.

Having lived for years in El Encantio right near Buzzard's I know the area well. I chatted with a guard down there and he said the body count was 18 and growing. There are trails off the road from the round about toward Zac's I would go up those sometimes and see freshly striped cars. I stopped doing that because did not want to come up on someone , let's say busy at the time.
Yesterday in my old neighbor El Tule a half way point between Cabo and SJ they found two hacked bodies on the beach. This is truly sad as it will stop some fro coming down. Housing prices will be affected for sometime because I don't see this ending soon.
I pray for all my friends who have property there and have enjoyed moving around with little worries for years.
