If a Gringo in MX threatens someone's life on the internet what would the MX police do if reported?

Or even threatens them with bodily injury? Let's say via multiple PMs.

In issues like this it doesnt matter what race you are....a threat is a threat and if reported the police may contact immigration to act on it.

In our village if there is a problem that gets reported, often both parties are called in to the mayors office where the Delegado listens to both sides and hopefully can resolve the matter without it becoming a police matter.

If it a serious threat you must report it to the Ministerio Publico which kicks it up a notch. A gringo can be fined or jailed or deported if not a citizen.

Local cops would do nothing. Maybe the PJR would do something.

Actually, theres a cybernetic state police in the BCS justice system, you can contact them via social media or e-mail.

The behavior you mention may fall on the category of cyberbullying, even CSPĀ“s main target its the youth, threats of violence are taken very seriously.

No one has yet to offer the correct answer, so allow me to do so.

$100 - Cash - Placed into the hand of any number of corrupt officials working in the local area.

Case closed.

Think this is right. Make copies of the ''multiple PM's'' and talk to the top cop in the town the perp lives in. Tell the cop you want this guy arrested and in jail. Talk to MX immigration -- give them copies of the threats.

A more immediate alternative would be to show up at his home at night. Black BDUs, balaclava, assault gloves and a whip billy. Bring a friend or two.

The OP should give us the reason why he is asking, and if it's personal, give specifics.

Rarely, do online threats come from people you know all their personal information.

The person sending the threats could be using a fake name, fake email, and behind a chained up proxy, or better yet making threats from an internet cafe using a fake or throwaway email.

If the OP already has all the personal information from those threatening him. He should just show up at their house and settle it person.

He said already, - another gringo. "What" did he do to p$$ him off is another question. Doesn't sound like he is going to answer, unfortunately this is often an important point, because the OP initial act could be a serious wrongdoing in itself. The police and court of law will want to know all the details, and dealing with this system isn't fun, in any country.

Called him a blow hard, pusy. You know, normal message board stuff.

Thinking about getting the dude deported and then arrested in the US.

So you want a legal action NOB, with your testimony and everything, all the way to wherever it ends. The only guaranteed outcome of the NOB legal system is that it will cost you a lot of time :)

Easier solution: block the sender. It is unlikely that his threats are real.

Gnarly.

So, which District Attorney in the US are you going to convince to arrest a guy for Internet intimidation done in Mexico? You may have to make a federal case considering the international aspects. Maybe the World Court in The Hague, Netherlands.

JZ is no more full of himself than you, Tom. It would be hard for me to imagine him PO someone to the extent described.

Someone making serious threats deserves to be spanked, hard. Lots of a$$holes in BCS. I've seen them.
