Lidia's Impact On La Paz
Here's a link to a video that documents the impressive amount of water that ran through the streets of La Paz:

For anyone familiar with La Paz, it's definitely worth a look.
There most certainly is but one side to every story: the TRUTH. Variations of it are nothing but lies.

I have been trying to contact Campestre Maranatha (at km 11 east of L.P.) but have received no reply. They are undoubtedly busy, and the phone and
internet may be down, but I was wondering how badly the arroyo near there flooded.
I would appreciate any info from someone in the area. I plan on being there in a month or so, and I hope Jose, Cindy and family escaped any serious
damage!

FWIW, I tried calling a friend who lives near Maranatha on Skype from USA and the calls both times went to a recorded message after ringing about 8
times. That never happened before.
Hey Tripper! Are you planning on coming back to La Paz anytime soon?

Did you see posts by Harald here or on Facebook? Not so bad in that neighborhood from what I saw. He is one to know!

Campestre Maranatha seems OK. Drove past it yesterday. The entire area (Chametla/Centenario) has some minor flooding. All roads are OK. Power is back
on. Internet was never interrupted. Airport is open. No serious road damages in La Paz. Lotsa plant debris on the ground - but everyone is cleaning
up.

Thanks Harald! I don't follow other forums, so this is helpful.
Glad to see that you are driving again.

Just plant damage at my casa in Centenario, I hope that everyone is all right, making it through this seasonal ordeal. Being away from home, awaiting
anxiously news & pictures, my place made it with only little damage, I am told.

Here in Punta Banda, just West of Ensenada, we received only .10 inch of light rain.
The hills just East of Ensenada got quite a bit, but I have not heard how much.
