San Francisquito Cabins/House

Hey everyone, I've got a group of 7 guys (including myself) riding 5 dirtbikes to Cabo from Tecate in November. One of our nights we were planning on camping at San Francisquito, but I've read mixed reports of possible cabins or houses for rent. Does anyone have a contact or current info on this? I'm ready to camp but 10 days on a dirtbike is gonna take a toll for sure and if I can get a shi77y mattress and a roof Im gonna take it. Thanks in advance!

There are two places. I photographed them last January.

1) The cove or cala of San Francisquito, owned by Beto. Home for rent, cabana for rent and camping ($10, with showers and bathroom available). The email for Beto to reserve the house ($100) or cabana ($40) is aluwalfors AT gmail.com or see the web page: www.puertosf.com

=============================================================

2) The rundown resort on the south facing beach. Rustic cabins.

The resort cabin rents for $20/ pp

Shower/ bathroom at the 'resort'.

The Baja 1000 will be running in your part of the world Nov 14-18 - you should consider hunkering in, if you're there during those dates.

Cool thanks for the quick response! We are planning for the 1000 and will be at San Fracisquito before they start the race.

Please keep off the course on race days... An 800 horsepower Trophy Truck (or most any other vehicle racing) is nothing you want to be near you while riding. :cool:

Call Alberto at either of the following phone numbers. He has the cabin for rent (David K's picture number 1). I stayed there a year ago, and it's basic but nice. Can't beat the location.

Here is one of his posts on his family land at San Francisquito: http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=85375
