Fire tonight

Hi,

I live on the malecon in Mulege. There is a fire burning in what appears to be the other side of the river. I do not know my Mulege geography; is this a wild fire or controlled burning or worse?

I could see it clearly from my house which is about two blocks from Pancho Villa's. It was south of here, past the other side of the river but again, I do not know the geography of the area. It went on for a very long time but stayed within the same parameters in which i first noticed it burning. Maybe it was a controlled burn. No one else saw it??

I just asked my handy man about the fire. You can still see it smoking. I said he thinks it is basura: controlled fire. Learning Mulege.

I saw the smoke from here and a neighbor asked about it too. Hope it was a control burn.
