Bad week for Robbie G

Not only did Robbie miss out on qualifying for the Daytona 500 (his first outing after leaving his old team) but today he gets fined $50k and docked points (which he did not get) for illegal intake manifold.

As if crashing out of the lead in the Dakar was not enough bad news for one Winter of racing!

More on Robbie Gordon

As if it could not get worse, it did.
NASCAR stats showed that Robbie was involved in substantially more crashes than any other driver in 2004.
And, a Sports Illustrated poll of fellow drivers listed him as "the driver you hate to have on your rear bumper."
Won that one hands down.
I see that he is running well in practice today, maybe he can actually get qualified for his new sponsor (Harrahs) tomorrow.
Will be there in my usual turn 4 seats.

Robbie needs to stick to Baja...
