Exchange rate today

Costco Chula Vista 17.40
Banamex (shown on-line) 18.00
Wells Fargo if I order them 17.20

Someone have an idea of what the rate is in either Calexico or Mexicali?
Or?

If it is helpful, I can post current rates when I pass through there in a few days.

For what it is worth, I had to go to four different Calexico cambios before I found on that had pesos on March 5th.

One of them told me that they were having a hard time getting them from the Mexican banks. She then offered to change a hundred dollars for me, but no more than that, so I went and found another one that had cash on hand.

I asked at the Wells Fargo there (my bank) about changing dollars, and they told me I could get euros, but no pesos. Helpful, eh?

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

The peso has already gained in the last couple of days...18.8 to 18.4 on the international market. When things are stable usually can get pesos or .5 less than the international market. Looks like Banamex is the only one close to that.

Who cares. It will be what it will be when you go to get pesos. You probably will not turn and walk away.

Try

I can't swear it is accurate. I went into the Bancomer in Mulege and asked the exchange rate for the day (cash) and it was a lot less than what was shown online for Bancomer. However, if you average the buy/sell for a particular bank, that might give you an approximate ATM rate.

I would always go with Wells Fargo. They always have your best interest in mind. They really do care.

It depends on which direction you are driving.
