Julian graduated!

One of the very first students who joined the scholarship project in 2013 graduated this month!

We had a celebratory dinner with 5 other scholarship students at the Brazilian restaurant NABRASSA here in La Paz. They enjoyed the meal, buffet style meant they ate and ate and ate hahaha. I loved the meat but wasn't impressed with the salad bar, which in Brazil, is a big part of the attraction to this type of restaurant!

Here are the photos:

Here are the multitude of gifts I took him, all bought or bargained for by my MOM! There were shirts and a watch that needs to be enlarged and a backpack and a sweater .... and sponsorship until he can finish his unpaid internship that should lead to a lifetime job with IMSS was the icing on the cake!!!

Here is the traditional way meat is served in this type of restaurant - they bring you cut after cut of all different meats and sausages and chicken and more!

Thanks to Mike who made this dinner celebration possible. Julian's family did not come....he was so happy that we were there for this great occasion!

Thanks every single one of you who give for entrance exams, who give so I can take kids to the dentist (Julian went many times!), who bring my donations from far and wide! Who donate laptops, such a vital need. Together we are making the world so much better for these young adults.

THANKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
