green green green desert

We just got back from our trip to La Paz and the desert was incredibly green!

Highway 1 was fine - there was work being done on the road in 3 places, south of Mulege, between Loreto and Nopolo and the long stretch of dusty roadwork right before you get to La Paz.

Spectacular! Gotta believe Rosa will make it a couple clicks greener (buggier)?

One of the highlights for me when i make that trip when it's green is the wild Horse's. They look so beautiful.

Sergio will add to the green, hopefully without damage.

Heading south soon. Truck packing in progress. Lead acid batteries for the solar system are heavy. Oh, my aching back.

Don't tell me you are going to do highway 1 during hurricane Sergio?!!
The joke here in town is that he is running after Rosa, who went to Guerrero Negro.

Green it will be this year and for the first time in several decades, the brutal heat of summer abruptly ended about a week ago. Way early.
