it is a good idea to say if your price is in dollars or pesos when you are in this part of the world.

price is fair

I purchased the dish at Electrosat in Cabo San Lucas two months ago.

I paid $510.00 for the dish and stand, this is a high quality new dish ,1 meter and 1.2 meter dishes sell for around $200.00 -$300.00 new, when you go to this large size they cost more.

If someone is in an area that has sketchy reception or they want very good reception in bad weather ,then going to a 1.5 meter dish can make good sense.

Sat dish

Hey guys. Get real. This is a different world down here when it comes to sat. dishes. Three years ago when I was looking for a 1 meter dish, I drove to LaPaz and went to a very popular sat. store. Not a large one, but one that had about everything you'd want. I about fell over when he said, for the ONE meter $425.00, "you haul". I passed. I was like Capt Mike. I thought way to much. Now to hear the 1.5 meter dish is selling for $510.00 I wasn't surprised. Asking $425.00 might not be out of line if you are looking for one. Remember, you just don't walk across the street to get a 1.5 dish. And badkitty is offering to deliver.
