If you can connect with Nomad 'Shari' that would be my first choice on who to whale watch with. https://www.whalemagictours.com/

Here is Malarrimo's website: http://www.malarrimo.com/en

I've used Malarimmo several times. March is definitely best month to see babies. If you go with Malarimmo (esp. not on weekends) and once they get to launch area wait to board a panga last and perhaps you won't get in an overcrowded boat.

Plenty of whale-watching businesses in GN.
Malarrimo run their tours as well, leaving from the parking in front of the restaurant. Can be booked book online or upon arrival: http://www.malarrimo.com/en/booking

As mentioned above, check out the new whale camp out at the mouth of the lagoon. That's where all the action is that late in the season, as the inner lagoon has begun to clear out.

Sheri gets my vote hands down
Not only will you have an experience of a lifetime you will have a new friend for life
We met Sheri at the lagoon in 2003 I think and have been going back every year or so sence not just to see whales but also to her place in Asuncion in the fall She has a great B&B there and fantastic fishing too boot. If you're into that sort of thing.

We are only going as far as Gonzaga I think. Trying to save money for a down payment on a boat. I also have to be in So Cal by the 6 my mother is having heart surgery she is 87
We are heading down to Gonzaga on the 2nd heading back to Arizona on the 4th then driving to Los Angeles California on the 5th then going to Fred Hall show to look at boats and hopefully bringing one home. We will be down your way in the fall with it, I hope. Say hi to Juan for us and Happy birthday early

Oh darn...I will miss you guys.

Yesterday was downright blustery on the lagoon so whales that tried to be friendly couldnt manage to stay by the boat but we saw some cool stuff anyway. There were whales spyhopping all around us...probably wondering what the hell we were doing out there....hahaha.

and a baby kept lifting it's head out to look at us and climbed on it's moms back to get a better look at the crazy gringos.

We had a fun gang who took it all in stride!

even this osprey thought we were nuts!
