MEXICAN FISHING LICENSES

hola,

doesn't sound right, anybody knoiw anything about this ?

copy and paste from bloodydecks...

Since president Amlo came into to power, your existing license is still valid , If you don't have a license that is not expired the pay daily $11.00 dollars.I am pretty sure they will get this fixed in a bit.My license is good through June.If I saw this coming I would have got another annual a month ago. This info is from FONMAR in La Paz which controls all of Baja Sur fishing permits. As of right now only daily permits are being issued.I am quoting what I just in the news.

if true, i'm done.

Mood: I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Rumors abound on why no annual with the most talked about reason for no annual licenses is as you wrote. As of last week, no annual available in Loreto but Vagabundos del Mar had some and I got my annual through them with a small service charge.

I spoke with Rene at FONMAR yesterday and they feel the online site will be back to normal within two weeks. This, after being told in early January that they would be selling annual permit again "next week". In the local vernacular this simply means "not today".

renew right away before a new president takes office!

Rene has told us 2 weeks now for the the last 6 weeks.
so mexico 2 weeks seem to be longer than other 2 weeks..
